Parts here means two different things: replacement cables for the FT2 and SCS machines, and a set of rig attachments that also live in the Rig Accessories collection. If you're after the rig attachments, that page has the fuller description. This one focuses on the cables.

Replacement cables

Six cables cover the FT2 and SCS systems. For the FT2: a lower cable (4260mm), a rear cable (3160mm), and an upper cable (listed at 7980mm). For the SCS: a lower cable, an upper cable, and a row cable.

Each one is a specific length and routing for its position on the machine, so a lower cable won't work as a replacement for an upper or row cable even on the same model. Check the part code stamped or labeled on your existing cable if you're not sure which position you're replacing.

Rig attachments (also in Rig Accessories)

How do I know which cable position I need?

Check the label or part code on your existing cable first. If that's not available, the length and routing described above should match what you're removing.

Do I need special tools to swap a cable?

Most functional trainer and Smith machine cable swaps use standard hex keys or wrenches. Check your machine's manual for the specific process.
